Presenting an
Easter Calculator
All dates are given in the Gregorian calendar (or the proleptic Gregorian calendar). The calculator exclusively uses the Gregorian method to find the date of Easter, which is currently used by most of Western Christianity and the cultures it has influenced (including Australia). This system was first used for the Easter of 1583 by the Catholic church. Entering a year prior to this will produce results that are mathematically consistent but historically redundant. It may be important to note that the British Empire (encompassing many modern anglophone countries) first used the Gregorian method for the Easter of 1753.
